It's 3 a.m. Everyone's asleep, and suddenly your cat tears down the hallway, bounces off the bed and vanishes again. 🙀 If you live with a cat, you know the drill!

Cats are naturally most active at dusk and dawn, and after napping most of the day they have energy to burn. A few things that help:
🌙 A 10–15 minute wand-toy “hunt” before bedtime
🌙 Serve the main meal right after play — hunt, eat, groom, sleep
🌙 More daytime enrichment: toys, puzzle feeders, a window perch
🌙 Don't get up to feed when they call, or they'll learn it works

One caveat: if an older cat suddenly starts yowling at night, it's worth a vet visit.

Does your cat throw a midnight party too? How do you cope? 😹
