🐶✂️ Does your dog vanish the second the nail clippers come out? You're definitely not alone! 😅
Overgrown nails aren't just hard on your floors. They change how a dog stands and walks, and over time that can put extra strain on the toes and joints. The easiest sign to watch for: if you hear click-click-click on a hard floor, it's time for a trim.
A few things that help: let your pup sniff the clippers first, take off only a tiny bit from the tip, and stay clear of the pink quick (with dark nails, shave off thin slices so you can stop early). Give a treat after every single nail 🍖. If your dog is stressed, do one or two nails and finish tomorrow. There's no rule that says all four paws have to happen in one sitting. Keep some styptic powder nearby just in case.
