British Shorthairs are famous for that round, chubby-cheeked baby face and their calm, easygoing personality 🐱💙 They make wonderful family cats, especially around kids, since they rarely meow excessively and prefer a good cuddle over zooming around the house. That said, their dense plush coat needs brushing 2-3 times a week to prevent shedding and matting, especially during shedding season. They also tend to pack on weight easily, so keep an eye on portion sizes and make sure your fluffy friend gets a bit of daily play!
