🐱 Whiskers aren't just a cute accessory. They're deeply rooted touch sensors packed with nerve endings, helping your cat feel air movement, judge gaps and move with confidence even in the dark.

Cats also have whiskers above the eyes and on the back of the front legs. They're a mood meter too: pushed forward usually means curious and engaged, while pinned back against the cheeks often signals fear or discomfort.

⚠️ That's why whiskers should never be cut — a cat without them can feel disoriented and stressed. Finding the odd shed whisker on the floor is perfectly normal, though; it grows back. Some cats also seem to prefer wide, shallow bowls that don't press on their whiskers.

Have you ever found one of your cat's whiskers around the house? Does your kitty have white ones, black ones, or a mix? 😻
