🐱 Ever notice your cat always claiming the top of the bookshelf or the highest spot in the room? It's not random — for cats, height means safety. Up high, they can watch everything happening below and stay clear of anything that makes them nervous (yes, even the neighbor's dog 😹). Being up there also gives them a sense of controlling their own territory.

If you've got kids or other pets at home, a quiet elevated spot can really help a stressed cat settle down. A cat tree, a sturdy shelf, or even a cleared-off closet top works great.

Does your cat have a favorite watch tower? Where's the highest spot yours likes to claim? 👀
