🦜 A lot of people think keeping a pet bird is just about food and clean water, but parrots, budgies and their cousins are naturally social flock animals. Leave them alone all day with zero interaction and they can get bored fast — some even start plucking their own feathers from stress.

Just 10-15 minutes a day of talking, whistling, or playing some soft music for them can make a huge difference in how happy and bonded they feel with you. Some birds even pick up sounds and start talking back, which is endlessly entertaining.

Does your bird ‘talk back’ to you during the day? What's the funniest sound or word your bird has picked up? Tell us below! 👇
